We work with a range of professionals and have a close working relationship with the local GP practice, district nurses and physios. We offer respite care and a day care service for people in the community.
Our darling mum has been a resident at Atlantis Care Home since mid August 2022. She has a lovely, cosy room overlooking fields. There is always something going on and a joyful, happy bustle about the place. I visit mum often and can often hear distant laughter and happy conversations going on. Put simply, the team and staff are wonderful.
I love the fact all the staff have got to know my Mum. I can talk to any one of them and they’ll know the issue. I get fast response via email every time too. I can tell Atlantis has made the resident’s welfare a priority, as it should be.
We chose Atlantis for dad as it is a “home from home”. The owners, staff and carers are friendly and approachable, have the greatest respect and understanding of all the people who live there, and always make us feel welcome when we visit. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the lounges are small and cosy and the food always smells delicious! We couldn’t have chosen anywhere better.
The support my mother and I receive from Debbie and her dedicated team is outstanding, The home is small and I feel offers my mother a personalised care approach to encourage as much independence as possible. The team work in close partnership with the local GP surgery, hospital and District Nurses.
Dad moved in just over a year ago, he enjoys the fresh cooked daily meals which he says are very nice. The staff are all very friendly and cannot do enough for him. The care he receives is exceptional and his additional needs of hair cuts and chiropody are all catered for by professionals who attend the care home on a regular basis.
Atlantis is not just a care home, it is a family. Home from home comforts with staff who really care, love and go above and beyond. Standards and cleanliness are very high and there are activities for the residents to take part in and enjoy.A mountain of worry has been taken away from me thanks to the staff at Atlantis. Our Mum has been a resident of Atlantis Care Home for almost a year and is extremely happy and well cared for. The staff are second to none, looking after her needs in a kind and compassionate manner and having a joke with her when approrpriate. Mum loves the home cooked food she receives and the care and warmth that the staff give.
